As part of your Yarra Valley hot-air balloon experience, you’ll assist your pilot in preparing your balloon, before taking to the sky for unrivalled views of the region. Spend an hour blissfully floating above wine country, before descending for a hearty, optional breakfast. You’ll probably need it after all that excitement!

Before you buy

  • Minimum age: 6
  • You must be able to climb into the basket and stand for the 1-hour flight

On-site usage

  • Upon booking completion, guests will receive an email confirmation with flight details. Use the provided Booking ID to check your flight status on the supplier app
  • To check-in, please refer to the operator’s confirmation number
  • Exact flight/meeting times will be updated by the operator based on weather conditions through their app (details on voucher) or check the confirmation email for meeting times
  • Meeting point (for Balloon Flight Only): Balgownie Estate (meet in the 1309 restaurant), 1309 Melba Hwy, Yarra Glen
  • After the flight, the flight operator will drive all passengers back to the meeting point which is where breakfast is held (if selected)

After your visit

  • Wear casual and comfortable clothing. Shoes must be flat (no high heels or open-toed shoes)
  • Global Ballooning App for flight information: Apple, Android
  • It is highly recommended to download the app to receive the flight status. This will also be the platform you can access their complimentary in-flight photos.
  • The tour normally will be completed between 10:00-11:00
